PM Announces New Initiative at AED

Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki announced the Iraq Education Initiative at AED on July 25, which will send up to 10,000 Iraqi students per year over the next five years to the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, and Australia to complete their higher education studies. AED will provide advisory support to the Initiative, which is designed, funded, and managed
