It's Time to Make Your 2009 ACRE Decision
The Deadline to Sign up is August 14, 2009

The decision to participate in ACRE requires participation by the landowner and all producers on the farm. Therefore, if you're not the owner of the farm, talk to the landowner and, if there are other producers on the farm, talk to them. The decision to participate in ACRE must be unanimous and all owners and producers on the farm must sign the ACRE Election form or you can use our online eACRE Election process.

Get started now; don't wait; August 14, 2009 will be here before you know it.

Direct and Counter-Cyclical Payment Program (DCP)

The Direct and Counter-cyclical Payment Program (DCP) provides payments to eligible producers on farms enrolled for the 2008 through 2012 crop years. There are two types of DCP payments - direct payments and counter-cyclical payments. Both are computed using the base acres and payment yields established for the farm. DCP is authorized by the Food, Conservation and Energy Act of 2008 (2008 Farm Bill) and is administered by the U.S. Department of Agriculture's Farm Service Agency (FSA).
