Welcome to the home page of the MODIS Science Data Support Team (SDST). The SDST supports the MODIS project by integrating atmosphere, land, and ocean remote sensing software into a production environment.

The Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer (MODIS) is an instrument aboard the Terra and Aqua satellites. MODIS acquires data of the Earth's land, oceans, and lower atmosphere in 36 spectral bands. These data will improve understanding of global dynamics and assist in the development of Earth system models able to predict global change.
