NIH Stem Cell Guidelines Released

When President Obama asked the National Institutes of Health to review existing human stem cell research guidelines and issue new guidance within 120 days, we conducted a comprehensive review that resulted in the draft Guidelines we published on April 23, 2009. As of July 7, the final Guidelines on Human Stem Cell Research have taken effect, and we believe that these guidelines achieve both of the President’s goals of advancing the field of human embryonic stem cell research and raising the bar for ethical standards.

Coming Soon: Electronic Submission of Fellowship Applications

All grant applications for the Individual National Research Service Award (NRSA) Fellowships (F-series) will require electronic submission through Grants.gov using the SF424 (R&R) for the August 8, 2009 due date and beyond.

Have You Tried RePORTER? New Tool Provides Insight into NIH Research Funding and Results

Comprehensive information NIH-funded grants and contracts is now available online. Check out (RePORTER) for access to budget information, research results and products,and related patents and publications. Data are available from 1985 through the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 and are searchable according to user interest.
