Researcher Thomas Wang of Harvard-affiliated Massachusetts General Hospital says people who had vitamin D deficiency had about half of what would be considered adequate levels. "The levels in the group of people that we considered to have at least moderate degrees of vitamin D deficiency were about half as much as the levels that would be considered adequate by most experts."
