Overview of report on North American cross-border electricity trade
The North American Energy Working Group is releasing a document that examines federal regulation of cross-border electricity trade, the Guide to Federal Regulation of Sales of Imported Electricity in Canada, Mexico, and the United States. The Guide is an overview of the domestic treatment of imported electricity in North America and a follow-up to North America - Regulation of International Electricity Trade, released in 2002. It is hoped that this Guide will be useful to participants in the electricity sector with an interest in operating in multiple jurisdictions, and thus help to promote electricity trade.

Le Groupe de travail nord-américain sur l'énergie (GTNAE) annonce la publication d'un rapport qui examine la réglementation fédérale sur le commerce international de l'électricité, le Guide sur les règlements fédéraux visant la vente d'électricité importée au Canada, au Mexique et aux États-Unis. Ce Guide est un survol du traitement intérieur de l'électricité importée en Amérique du Nord et un suivi du rapport Amérique du Nord - Réglementation du commerce international de l'électricité, publié en 2002. Nous espérons que celui-ci servira aux acteurs du secteur de l'électricité désireux d'opérer dans plusieurs jurisdictions et contribuera ainsi à promouvoir le commerce de l'électricité.

El grupo de trabajo norteamericano sobre la energía (GTNAE) anuncia la publicación de un informe que examina la reglamentación federal sobre el comercio internacional de electricidad, la guía sobre los reglamentos federales sobre la venta de electricidad importado al Canadá, México, y los Estados Unidos. La guía presenta una panorama de las reglas domesticas que gobierna electricidad importada a la América del Norte, y un seguimiento al informe América del Norte: Regulación del Comercio Internacional del Electricidad, publicada en 2002. Es de esperar que esta guía será útil a los que participan en el sector de electricidad con un interés de ellos que funcionan en jurisdicciones múltiples y así ayudar a promover el comercio de electricidad.
