Central Personnel Data File and Enterprise Human Resources Integration Reporting

The Central Personnel Data File (CPDF) and the new Enterprise Human Resources Integration (EHRI) warehouse are first and second generation human resources reporting systems. Both HR systems store workforce information sent from Executive Branch, agencies but EHRI has three sophisticated enhancements - a central data repository for all Executive Branch employee records; an electronic Official Employee Record, and a set of analytical tools for human capital forecasting and trend analysis. Agency officials who are responsible for preparing and correcting CPDF and EHRI data will find submission instructions for both systems on this page. Note that notices of updates to the CPDF and EHRI guides are sent to the CPDF mailing list. To join or leave the mailing list, go to the CPDF archive at and select “Join or leave the list…” (near the top of the page).
