The Office of Water Quality and the Ohio District of the USGS, Water Resources Division, have sponsored a 3-day workshop on "Building capabilities for monitoring and assessment in public health microbiology,"on March 14-16, 2000, in Columbus, Ohio.
The primary objective of the workshop was to provide participants a forum for technical exchange and program development opportunities for USGS projects in microbiology.
