The Official Gazette - Trademarks (OG) is available in electronic form (.PDF format) for the most recent fifty-two (52) issues. The electronic version of the OG does not contain USPTO Notices, which instead can be found at http://www.uspto.gov/web/offices/com/sol/og/index.html. In addition to the OG being provided in electronic form, Registration Certificates for marks registering on the Tuesday issue date and Updated Registration Certificates being issued on the Tuesday issue date are also provided in PDF format. Registration certificates will continue to be printed and mailed to registrants.

On the publication date or shortly thereafter, the applicant should carefully review the information that appears in the OG for accuracy (see steps, below). If any information is incorrect, the applicant should immediately email the requested correction to TMPostPubQuery@uspto.gov. 1. Click on “Trademark Official Gazette” for the date corresponding to the publication date. 2. Wait for the total OG to upload completely (as indicated on bottom of OG page). 3. At the top/side of the displayed page, click wherever the “binoculars” icon appears. 4. Enter in the "search" box the name of the applicant (for individual: last name, first name) or the serial number in this exact format (with hyphen and comma): 77-545,528, e.g. 5. View the retrieved result(s). If multiple results appear in the "results" box, click directly on each "search term" shown in the box to access all separate appearances in the OG.

Note: Viewing the .PDF files will require Adobe’s free Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. To download a file, right-click on the link, select "Save Link As..." or "Save Target As..." , select the directory, then Save. The printed (paper) publication is available from the Superintendent of Documents, US Government Printing Office (GPO), as an annual subscription or as single copies.
