This morning, Governor Lingle testified before the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee during a special meeting in Honolulu. The Governor discussed the State's progress in utilizing federal stimulus dollars provided by the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act to stimulate Hawai`i's economy and create jobs.

Statehood Mosaic Mural Unveiled at Honolulu International Airport
As part of the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of Hawai`i's statehood, a giant mosaic mural featuring artwork by students nationwide was unveiled at the Honolulu International Airport this week. Made up of over 8,000 unique images, the mural was created as a lasting tribute to our state.
