Power-Gen Europe 2007

Power-Gen Europe (PGE) 2007 was the Energy Team's premier European event. The Showcase Europe Energy Team and The Energy Team from the U.S., in conjunction with the Europe Team, held a Showtime and Matchmaking event at Power-Gen Europe 2007 in Madrid, Spain from June 26-28, 2007. Sixty U.S. companies met with 11 Energy Specialists and 2 Commercial Officers representing 11 European countries, resulting in 254 Showtime appointments at the Madrid venue. Commercial Service Turkey took the lead in organizing the SCE Energy Team, and worked in conjunction with the Energy and Europe Teams in putting together the Industry Focused Promotion Matchmaking component of the PGE 2007 event as well as counseling and matchmaking U.S. companies on the show floor.

Power-Gen International 2006

November 28- December 2, 2006
Orlando, Florida

The Energy Team worked in conjunction with show organizer PennWell and Global Trade Programs to execute an extensive international presence at the show, held in Orlando, Florida, Nov 28-30. Activities included Showtime event with 13 countries represented - 49 US companies took part in the Showtime, resulting in approximately 170 meetings. 12 CS delegations were recruited, 10 of which were escorted by CS personnel. The Team also coordinated an industry briefing with USTDA for Southern Africa and a Maket Briefing on Alternatives in Sweden. PD featured speakers from Pratt & Whitney, Foster Wheeler, and PennWell as well as a segment on CS Scheduler training.
