The Office of Multicultural Health & Services serves as a leader and catalyst in helping the Public Health Division focus attention on communities of color, Indian tribal governments, and other multicultural groups. We are working to improve the health status of, and the way that services are provided to the medically under-served and under-represented populations in Oregon through multicultural and culturally-competent approaches that influence the way in which health services are designed and delivered, as well as creating and sustaining welcoming environments that are inclusive and respectful of staff, customers, and partners.
