The NASA Agency Training and Development Office extends opportunities to help employees gain the necessary knowledge and skill to fulfill NASA’s mission through formal education, training, and on the job developmental experiences. The means may be university coursework, traditional classrooms, online learning, satellite broadcast, blended models, or on the job training.
The organization is responsible for the Agency’s overall leadership development training needs serving all NASA Centers, Mission Directorates, and Mission Support organizations. We work in collaboration with the Center training offices, HQs functional offices, and stakeholders in the SATERN on-line learning environment to ensure that employees receive opportunities to build their professional development in three main areas: Building Leaders, Building Technical Excellence, and Building Effective Organizations. Our effort in these areas is focused on results through fostering a culture of honesty, learning, and knowledge sharing.
