Rodulfo |
|
San
Antonio, TX – United States Marshals Service (USMS) sponsored Lone Star
Fugitive Task Force (LSFTF) partner agency, the Bexar County Sheriffs
Office, arrested Rodulfo today at a residence located on the 400 block of
Pace in San Antonio.
Herlinda Rodulfo is suspected of causing the death of a young female victim
in the Baltimore, Maryland area. On May 17, 2008, Rodulfo is suspected of
utilizing a firearm and shooting the victim resulting in her death. The
Baltimore U.S. Marshals office and the Baltimore Police Department developed
information that Rodulfo had fled the Baltimore area and was believed to be
with family members in San Antonio. Baltimore U.S. Marshals and the
Baltimore Police requested the assistance of the Lone Star Fugitive Task
Force with locating and apprehending Rodulfo in the San Antonio area.
Members of the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force conducted an investigation and
combed the streets of San Antonio searching for Rodulfo. Information was
developed that Rodulfo had been in San Antonio for about a week and had been
spotted at various times on the west side of town. Wanted Posters of Rodulfo
were distributed to the Sheriffs Deputies and San Antonio Police Officers
responsible for that area. Alert and vigilant Sheriffs Deputies located and
arrested Rodulfo based on information provided by the Lone Star Fugitive
Task Force. Rodulfo has been booked into the Bexar County Jail and is
awaiting extradition to the Baltimore area.
The United States Marshal for the Western District of Texas LaFayette
Collins said “Our network of fugitive task forces have once again proved
their worth. This was just another in a long line of dangerous fugitives
taken off of the streets of our communities by our teams.” |
