The Dawn mission, launching in the summer of 2007, seeks to find answers about the origins of the solar system. The planets of the solar system formed from a cloud of gas and dust, while asteroids are the rocky remnants that never grew into planets. By investigating the two most massive asteroids, Ceres and Vesta, NASA's Discovery mission Dawn seeks to determine the planetary building processes that made Ceres large and wet, and Vesta smaller and volcanic. Dawn will help humans understand the conditions that led to planetary formation.

The Dawn Mission Events Calendar is a six-year wall calendar from the years 2007 to 2012. The calendar highlights major events of the mission.
