Jeff Schloss, Ph.D.

Dr. Schloss’ program at the National Human Genome Research Institute centers on development of novel DNA sequencing technologies. He, like many of the NIH staff involved in this Nanomedicine Initiative, is member of the NIH Bioengineering Consortium, known here as BECON, and is one of the founding members and past chair. He co-chairs the NIH Nano Task Force and is one of the NIH representatives to the federal working group for the National Nanotechnology Initiative. Jeff’s training and research were in regulation of mRNA abundance control and in mammalian non-muscle cell motility.
