The mission of the Veterans Benefits Administration, in partnership
with the Veterans Health Administration and the
National Cemetery Administration, is to provide benefits and services to the veterans and
their families in a responsive, timely and compassionate manner in
recognition of their service to the Nation.
Roanoke Veterans Service Center - administers a
variety of benefits and services for veterans, their dependents and
survivors.
Roanoke Regional Loan Center - Provides Home Loan
Guaranty Services in the following states: Virginia, West Virginia,
Kentucky, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.
VA Acquired Properties -
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) acquires properties as a result
of foreclosures on VA-guaranteed and VA-financed loans. These
acquired properties are marketed for sale through a property
management services contract that was awarded to Countrywide Home
Loans.
VA acquired properties are listed for sale at
https://www.reotrans.com and through local Multi
Listing Systems (MLS) by local listing agents. If
you are interested in buying a VA-acquired property,
please contact a local real estate broker of your
choice to see the property.
Roanoke Vocational Rehabilitation and Employment - Assists
veterans with service-related injuries achieve suitable employment or
enhance their ability to function independently at home and in the
community.
