Title V Property Survey
Federal Property Information Checklist
Under the auspices of the McKinney Act, HUD must canvass federal landholding agencies on a quarterly basis to collect information about properties that have one of the following classifications in surveys conducted by the agencies: Unutilized, Underutilized, Excess, Surplus, and Availability. HUD determines which properties are suitable for the homeless and then asks the agencies to identify whether the suitable properties are available or unavailable. An agency can determine that a suitable property is unavailable by showing a compelling federal need.

	Notice of Outcome Performance Measurement System for Community Planning and Development Formula Grant Programs Following the culmination of two years of cooperative work between national community development interest groups, the Office of Management and Budget, and HUD, the Department is pleased to provide the Notice on the Outcome Performance Measurement System for Community Planning and Development's Formula Grant Programs. This notice went on public display on March 3, 2006 and is scheduled to be published in the "Federal Register" on March 7, 2006. The notice describes the performance measurement system and how the system will be implemented.
