Digital TV Converter Box Coupon
Congress created the TV Converter Box Coupon Program for households wishing to keep using their analog TV sets after Feb. 17, 2009. The Program allows U.S. households to obtain up to two coupons that can be applied toward the cost of eligible converter boxes.
 

SNAP - Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program Putting Healthy Food Within Reach
As of Oct. 1, 2008, SNAP is the new name for the federal Food Stamp Program. It stands for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, and reflects the changes we’ve made to meet the needs of our clients, including a focus on nutrition and an increase in benefit amounts.

Food Inspector Hallmark/Westland Beef Recall
Feb. 17, 2008 — All ground beef products produced by Hallmark/Westland Meat Packing Company and delivered directly to Federal food and nutrition programs and further processed products that contain Westland products are covered by the recall.
