Acquisitions
The National Aeronautics and Space
Administration (NASA) intends to procure
services to provide agency-wide management,
integration, and delivery of IT infrastructure
services. NASA intends to procure these IT
infrastructure services through several
component contracts. These contracts
will include the Agency
Consolidated End User Services (ACES) Contract,
the NASA Integrated Communications Services
(NICS) contract, the NASA Enterprise Data Center
(NEDC) contract, the Web Enterprise Service
Technologies (WEST) contract, and the Enterprise
Applications Service Technologies (EAST)
contract.
Acquisition Schedule Update: August 3, 2009
– NASA has reviewed industry input
(questions and comments) that were submitted in
response to the draft requests for proposals
(RFPs), Industry Days and site visits. Answers
to most questions have been posted in the
Questions / Answers page; answers to remaining
questions will be posted before release of final
RFPs. NASA appreciates industry’s input, which
will help to improve final RFPs. Please see the
schedule below.
NICS Update: August 13, 2009 – NASA is
offering a formal period of due diligence in
response to industry requests. From Aug. 17 to
Sept. 4, potential bidders will have the
opportunity to meet in person with
representatives of the various Centers where
NICS efforts will occur. The objective is to
facilitate a greater technical understanding of
the existing environment (“as-is” conditions
