National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day

March 20 is National Native HIV/AIDS Awareness Day.

American Indians and Alaska Natives (AI/AN) are ranked third in the nation in the rate of AIDS diagnosis compared to all other races and ethnicities.

The National Native American AIDS Prevention Center (NNAAPC)Exit Disclaimer, Colorado State University's Center for Applied Studies in American Ethnicity (CASAE)Exit Disclaimer, and Inter Tribal Council of Arizona, Inc. (ITCA) Exit Disclaimer organize and implement the Day.

That's a startling fact about American Indians and Alaskan Natives. I hope that anyone who has contracted this disease can take care of themselves and get help as quickly as possible. It's a terrible thing and I hope we can find a cure quickly.

It is very fine to see an AIDS blog belonging to government. There are thousands of national native people daily keeping track of your news. AIDS/HIV especially affect afroamericans and natives in our country. Government makes its best for informing native american people on AIDS disease and AIDS/HIV prevention

It is great job. Thanks for all officers who deal with AIDS cure, HIV cure and HIV prevention
