International Services | |||||||
The International Services Group is the centralized point of service assisting with the movement of people across borders: foreign-born scientists and professionals entering the U.S. to visit or work at Fermilab, as well as U.S.-citizen Fermilab employees being assigned abroad. Whether you are coming or going, we look forward to helping you get there! International Services hosts a monthly Brown Bag Lunch on every 2nd Tuesday of each month, to help newcomers transition to life at Fermilab. The Lunch includes a short presentation on a “getting to know Fermilab” topic, follwed by time to ask questions (about the topic or any other problem) and socialize. The August Brown Bag lunch is on August 12, 2009, from 12 noon to 1:30 pm in the Blackhole (a conference room in Wilson Hall, 2nd floor, in the northwest corner). Users’ Office
