The Office of General Counsel is organized into four units:
Office of Legislative Affairs
Directed by Margaret Stanley, (202) 272-7742, this
unit in Washington, D.C.,
provides liaison services to the Administration, members of Congress and other
Federal agencies.
Bureau of Law
Directed by the General Counsel, Steven A. Bartholow, this unit provides legal,
legislative and library services for the agency.
Bureau of Hearings and Appeals
Directed by Arthur A. Arfa, (312)
751-4346, this unit reviews appeals and conducts hearings for
individuals who disagree with the decisions reached in their case.
Secretary to the Board
The Secretary to the Board, Beatrice E. Ezerski, maintains the official record
of proceedings and actions by the three-member Board, also issuing
correspondence, notices and reports in its behalf. |
