The government has issued recommendations on priorities for fall vaccination against the novel H1N1 flu strain. In addition, the risks of novel H1N1 flu in pregnant women have come to light. Links to information on these and other aspects of influenza have been organized by CIDRAP.

EDEN is, once again, taking part in the National Preparedness Campaign. This September marks the sixth annual campaign led by the Department of Homeland Security.
H1N1 - National Call of EDEN Delegates

EDEN delegates were invited to participate in a conference  call to address the H1N1 influenza outbreak. On Friday, May 1, 20 delegates representing 16 states and USDA/CSREES discussed the current status of H1N1 in their state.

The Extension Disaster Education Network (EDEN) links Extension educators from across the U.S. and various disciplines, enabling them to use and share resources to reduce the impact of disasters.

The EDEN website receives support from the Cooperative State Research, Education and Extension Service, U.S. Department of Agriculture under CSREES/USDA Agreements No. 2005-37620-15609 and 2004-37620-14644.
