Recent Activities:
10/1/2008
Island-wide school flu vaccination campaign, October thru December. MRC volunteers will be working with Department of Health employees to provide free flu vaccinations to all Big Island school children, grades pre-school through 8th grade. Clinics will be scheduled at all participating public, public charter, and private schools on the Big Island.

Volunteer training for school flu vaccination clinics, 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Dept. of Health Environmental Health Conference room, 1582 Kamehameha Ave. in Hilo. Big Island MRC and State Dept. of Health volunteers will meet to review procedures for conducting the free school flu vaccination clinics scheduled island-wide. Topics to be covered include bloodborne pathogen awareness; ICS operational review; clinic operations and vaccination form review; and how to access new Sharepoint site for up-to-date clinic information.
