Summary of Arizona's Work as Part of the Initiative (2004-2005):
Arizona completed its strategic planning process and worked on:
- Establishing statewide voluntary developmental screening in child care;
- Developing infant toddler mental health competencies for child care providers; and
- Developing professional development standards for child care personnel caring for infants and toddlers.
Arizona's Child Care and Development Fund Quality Infant/Toddler Earmark:
FY 2006: The Federal CCDF Quality Infant and Toddler Earmark is $2,448,617.
