The Railroad Retirement Board is preparing an update of its
Strategic Plan,
covering fiscal years 2009 - 2014, in accordance with the Government Performance
and Results Act. The plan sets forth our mission, goals and strategies for
this planning period and will be used in managing day-to-day operations and
developing budget requests.
Draft RRB Strategic Plan for 2009-2014 The
basic requirements for updating strategic plans on a 3-year cycle and the
content of the plans can be found in the Government Performance and Results Act
of 1993, as amended (5 USC 306 et seq). In addition, more detailed guidance is
contained in OMB Circular No. A-11, Section 210, including posting on the
internet as a way of fulfilling the public-comment requirement.

available for public comment until August
14, 2009. Comments may be submitted as indicated below:
