Rear-Facing Commuter Seat 12G Sled Test, October 26th 2006
This video depicts three anthropomorphic test devices (ATDs) in a row of rear-facing commuter seats on a sled. The ATDs are situated between two rows of seats. During impact, the ATDs are forced backward into their seats. In this test, the pedestal did not deform, but the rear bolts under the pedestal fractured.
