ALOHA AND WELCOME.
The Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs (DCCA) is here to regulate business fairly and reasonably, while protecting consumers from fraud and unfair business practices.
Since Governor Lingle took office in 2003, the department has cut many of its fees, and many of its services are now available online. We have worked to make these services easy to use in order to save Hawaii business owners time and money.
Protecting Hawaii consumers is a priority for us here at DCCA. The department carries out that mission by enforcing fairness in the marketplace and providing consumers with information to help them make smart choices and solve problems. We believe that educated consumers make better decisions in their everyday lives. To protect consumers, we license and regulate more than 120,000 professionals, including doctors, dentists, contractors and auto repair mechanics.
