Practitioners, Clinicians and Responders play an extremely important role in emergency preparedness and response. While the public’s best response most times is to quickly and efficiently respond to the guidance of Federal, State and local officials with regard to evacuation or sheltering in place, Practitioners, Clinicians and Responders have many other responsibilities during a disaster or emergency. The information here is intended primarily to provide guidance and other information that will assist them in rapidly establishing priorities and undertaking necessary actions during the response to an emergency or disaster.
