What is Commercial News USA?

Commercial News USA is a catalog-style magazine that includes individual product photos and descriptions as well as print advertisements which target 400,000 potential buyers worldwide (including 80,000 subscribers).

It has recently been completely redesigned and enhanced to make it an even more effective vehicle for promoting American-made products and services to prospective buyers and partners outside of the United States. The newest issue is now available online free of charge. Readers have the option of viewing online either in pdf or html format.

Commercial News USA is also translated into special language editions, including Spanish and Chinese.

Small and medium sized exporters interested in an economical way to get worldwide visibility can now advertise on the Commercial News USA Web Site. The magazine is currently offering a special deal of just $99 for two months online. Web banner production is available for a nominal $29 fee. Advertisers can choose which industry page they want their banner to appear on, and can opt for additional banners for just $9 per industry section.

Requirement for advertising in CNUSA

To advertise in CNUSA, U.S. companies must offer products or services that are manufactured in the U.S., or products manufactured outside of the United States that are marketed under the name of a U.S. company, with U.S. content representing at least 51% of the finished product's value.

This publication is produced on a bi-monthly basis beginning in September 2004 under a private-public sector partnership initiative between the U.S. Commerce Department and ThinkGlobal Inc.
