The Budget in Brief The Budget in Brief for FY 2010 includes a budget summary and details the budget request for Department appropriations. Its sections include specific resource requirements for programs, activities, and management initiatives.	Congressional Budget Justification The Congressional Budget Justification for FY 2010 lays out the resources requested for Department appropriations that will be used to strengthen the core programming, policy, and management capabilities of the Department necessary to carry out vital U.S. diplomatic and consular relations with more than 180 countries.
The Agency Financial Report The Agency Financial Report for FY 2008 provides an overview of the Department's financial performance and results to help Congress, the President, and the public assess our stewardship over the financial resources entrusted to us.	Budget, Performance, and Financial Snapshot The "Snapshot" presents a quick picture of the Department's mission, organization, performance and financial results.
Annual Performance Report The FY 2008 Annual Performance Report provides State Department performance results and program evaluations.	Citizens' Report The Citizens' Report is a summary of FY 2008 performance and financial results. The report presents the Department's highest priorities, strengths, and challenges in the conduct of U.S. foreign policy. Accompanying the report is a podcast message from the Under Secretary for Management discussing how the State Department carries out its diplomatic mission.
The Annual Performance Report and Plan The Annual Performance Report and Plan describes how the Department will accomplish long-term strategic goals, define program success, and measure and verify results achieved.	Strategic Plan The Department of State and USAID Strategic Plan presents how the Department and USAID will implement U.S. foreign policy and development assistance. It also supports the policy decisions set forth in the National Security Strategy.
The Program Assessment Rating Tool The Program Assessment Rating Tool (PART) was developed to assess and improve program performance so that the Federal government can achieve better results. A PART review helps identify a program's strengths and weaknesses to inform funding and management decisions aimed at making the program more effective. The Department of State's PART results are housed on the Expectmore.gov website.	Performance and Accountability Report The Performance and Accountability Report for FY 2006 provides performance results and audited financial statements that enable Congress, the President, and the public to assess the performance of the Department in achieving its mission and managing its resources.
The Executive Branch Management Scorecard The Executive Branch Management Scorecard tracks how well departments and major agencies are executing five government-wide management initiatives.	Government Accountability Office (GAO) Reports GAO conducts reports on all federal agencies to help improve the performance and ensure the accountability of the federal government. Joint Highlights The Joint Highlights for FY 2007 summarizes high-level budget, performance, and financial information for the State Department and USAID.	Inspector General Audits and Reports The Office of Inspector General conducts independent audits, inspections, and investigations that advance the missions of the Department of State and the Broadcasting Board of Governors.
