We are pleased to announce the 11th Annual Information Assurance Workshop (IAWS) will be held at the Wyndham Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida this year from 12-16 February 2007. The annual forum, hosted jointly by NSA and DISA, is an opportunity for attendees to discuss critical IA policies and issues facing the community today. This year’s theme, “Operationalizing IA for the GIG,” will bring a renewed focus on support to the Warfighter. Key leaders from across DoD will address challenges that confront today’s IA professionals as well as encourage cross-community collaboration to respond to those challenges. As we return to a workshop-oriented atmosphere this year, the tracks will include a refreshing blend of the IA Capability Areas as well as the Strategic Goals. Also new this year will be a separate Warfighter Track, hosted by the Joint Staff, which will capture real-world issues facing our Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen and Marines as they are engaged around the globe.
