Detailed Forecast Discussion |
Upper level trough stalls over north GA with sheared out wave along with weak surface ridging. Still fairly moist and unstable air mass in place, even though surface front slips to south of Metro later today, which may bring in a little drier air near the surface. With trough aloft, there should be enough dynamic instability and leftover moisture convergence to keep ozone and PM2.5 in green range for Thursday around Metro. BBM\n |
