    Apollo 40 Years On July 20, 1969 humans first set foot on the lunar surface. Please join us as we celebrate this historic milestone with events around the Houston area.     The Houston Astros celebrate 40 years of exploration with NASA Night Special Pricing. Come out and join the celebration as the Astros host the Cardinals. To order tickets, click here.

    “Telling the Stories of Apollo: A Conversation with Apollo Managers”
    Johnson Space Center Teague Auditorium
    Travel back in time ... watch and learn about NASA's Apollo program from the managers and engineers who helped make it all happen. Each day, starting at 11 a.m. two films from the six part Discovery Channel documentary "Moon Machines" will be shown along with Apollo-era panelist discussions and audience Q&A. Monday, July 20 features a special introductory conversation with distinguished panel members including several former NASA center directors. Seating is limited. Registration is required for the general public.
