Our nation’s capital is one of the world’s foremost cities for history, architecture, art, entertainment and sports.  Across the city there are countless exciting and educational opportunities for people of all ages and interests.  Below you will find information that I compiled to help you make your trip as easy and enjoyable as possible. 
 
During your visit, remember to stop by my Washington, D.C. office to meet me and my staff and discuss our favorite Washington, D.C. attractions.  My office is open from 9:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday.

Post-9/11 GI Bill
The Post-9/11 GI Bill, passed by Congress last year, is the most extensive educational assistance program authorized since the original GI Bill was signed into law in 1944. These benefits provide every eligible Veteran, Service member, Reservist, and National Guard member an opportunity to receive an in-state, undergraduate education at a public institution at no cost. Provisions of the program include payments for tuition and fees, housing, and a books and supplies stipend.
