An agreement has been met between the Lake Charles Firefighters Union and the City of Lake Charles, La. After a nearly 12-hour negotiation meeting, both sides finally reached an agreement with the help of a federal mediator. The next step is for Firefighters Union 561 to vote on the agreement which, if accepted, will be presented to the Lake Charles County Council.
