Earmark Moratorium
On March 3, 2009 Rep. Waxman announced that he would not submit funding requests for appropriations earmarks for Fiscal year 2010. This policy continues a moratorium he first implemented in February, 2008 for the FY09 appropriations cycle. To read his February, 2008 statement, click here.
