Current Developments

  • Distribution of the 2000-2003 Cable Royalty Funds (Docket No. 2008-2 CRB CD 2000-2003)
    The rebuttal phase of the proceeding to determine the Phase I distribution of cable royalties for the years 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003 will take place on Tuesday, September 1, 2009, and Wednesday, September 2, 2009, and will be held in Room LM-408 in the James Madison Memorial Building of the Library of Congress, 101 Independence Avenue, S.E., Washington, D.C.

    The direct phase of the trial took place from June 11, 2009, through June 16, 2009.  Read Information on Direct Phase

    The following is the current schedule for the proceeding:

    Witnesses for Canadian Claimants:
    September 1, 2009:  John E. Calfee and Jonda K. Martin.

    Witnesses for Settling Parties:
    September 2, 2009: Linda McLaughlin.

    The trial begins each day at 9:30 a.m. and is open to the public.

    Upon completion of the rebuttal phase, there will be a break in the trial while the parties prepare their proposed findings of fact and conclusions of law.
