ABOUT SHANGHAI EXPO

The Shanghai Expo 2010 (Expo) is a World’s Fair to be held in Shanghai, China from May to October 2010. The Expo’s theme of “Better City, Better Life” focuses on improvement of the quality of life in the world’s cities. Approximately 70 million visitors, including an anticipated 60 million from China are expected to attend the Expo. More than 175 countries will have a presence at the Expo through country pavilions. A U.S. pavilion offers an outstanding venue to showcase American business, culture, and values in one of China’s most dynamic cities and to foster an even stronger friendship between the American and Chinese peoples.

It will also demonstrate America’s commitment to the Asia-Pacific region and to a positive relationship with China. The U.S. Department of State has authorized USA Pavilion, a private organization, to raise funds to design and build a U.S. Pavilion. If you have any questions, please contact the organization’s representatives Mr. Nick Winslow or Ms. Ellen Eliasoph. Mr. Winslow can be reached at (626) 584-1660 or by email at nick.scott@earthlink.net. Ms. Eliasoph can be reached at (202) 662-5777 or by email at eeliasoph@cov.com.
