QUESTION: Can organizations apply for grants from the Office of Disability Employment Policy (ODEP)?

While the grants awarded by many federal agencies focus on program implementation, ODEP's grants are, in fact, research demonstration projects for the development of new knowledge with the aim of increasing employment opportunities for people with disabilities. ODEP awards monies on a competitive basis to non-profit organizations, state and local government agencies, and academic institutions. Solicitations for grant proposals are published in the Federal Register and on ODEP's Web site. Information on prior grants awarded by ODEP can be found in the Grants section of this site.
