Acquisition Plan: LANL

Los Alamos National Laboratory’ (LANL) management is working to improve procurement planning at the Laboratory. Acquisition Services Management, the Laboratory division responsible for procurement, met during 2008 with each Associate Director across the Laboratory and reviewed plans for FY2009. As a result of this effort, the first LANL Acquisition Plan (January Forecast) was issued on January 29, 2009. This initial spend projection for FY2009 (major procurement awards and modifications to existing agreements valued at greater than $100,000) is provided below for information only. This listing is not all inclusive and includes only those anticipated expenditures exceeding $100,000. This listing is a planning document and is subject to change. The Acquisition Plan will be updated quarterly.

Efforts are underway to reconstruct and combine our "Forecasting" and "Bidding Opportunities" websites to list those business opportunities that may materialize from this FY09 Acquisition Plan.

In the interim, we hope this Acquisition Plan will assist you in identifying potential opportunities as early as possible in our procurement process. If you have any questions or comments, we encourage you to send them to business@lanl.gov.
