The Mayor's Citywide Call Center is residents' main pipeline to basic city services provided by the Department of Public Works, the District Department of Transportation, and the Department of Health (Vector Control).

When constituents call the Call Center, their requests are entered into the service request tracking system. Constituents are given the expected time frame for delivery and a tracking number so that they can check on the status of their request.

Constituents also have the option of submitting service requests on line through the Service Request Center. Registered users can submit requests online, track them and maintain a history. Also, registered users who call in requests to the Call Center can view their requests through the Service Request Center (SRC). Simply inform the Customer Service Specialists that you are a registered SRC user and your service requests will be linked.

The volume of requests has increased significantly, from approximately 50,000 in 1999 to a staggering 254,765 in 2006. Along with this notable rise in the number of requests is the considerable improvement in the number of services delivered on time. Customer Service Operations publishes a monthly summary of scheduled service performance. View the Scheduled Services Performance Report.

You can request any of the following services by calling the Mayor's Citywide Call Center at 311 or complete a service request online using the District government's Service Request Center.
