American Citizen Services and Visa Applicants

If you have an American Citizen Service appointment or visa appointment and you are experiencing flu-like symptoms, please do not come to the U.S. Embassy, Manila. We will provide re-scheduling of your appointment should you need to cancel for this reason as follows:

• To reschedule American Citizenship Services appointments, please call 301-2000 x2555 and x2532 between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM.

• To reschedule Visa appointments, please call 1-909-101-7878 (from a PLDT landline) or 1-888-877-9888 (from the U.S.)

NewU.S Passport for Minors and the Two-Parent Consent Regulations

Effective February 1, 2008, the two-parent consent regulations will be extended to minors under the age of 16.

NewRevised Passport Application Forms

Effective February 1, 2008, all applicants for U.S. passports will be required to use the revised passport application forms.

NewNew Passport Fees

Effective February 1, 2008, the Department of State will institute a new fee schedule for U.S. passport services.

NewThe New U.S. Passport Card

Effective February 2, 2009, the Embassy-contracted courier, Air21/FedEx, will no longer accept payments for passport applications.   Air 21/Fedex will continue to deliver U.S. passport application forms, submit personal U.S. passport applications to the Embassy, and return completed U.S. passports to customers. 

Effective February 1, 2008, U.S. citizens may begin applying in advance for the new U.S. Passport Card, in anticipation of land border travel document requirements.

NewPayment of U.S. Passport Fees
