Office of the Director

The Office of the Director (OD) determines Institute programs, plans, and policies and provides management, program analysis, and scientific program reporting services to the Institute.

OD has two offices that deal with overall management of NIAID; they are the Office of the Chief of Staff for the Immediate Office of the Director and the Office of Science Management and Operations.

• Vaccine Research Center
