Child and Family Policy Initiative Brown Bag: 'The Impact of Today’s Economy on Latino Children in the U.S'
UGA's Child and Family Policy Initiative presents Pedro R. Portes, Goizueta Foundation Distinguished Chair in Latino Teacher Education and executive director of the Center for Latino Achievement and Success in Education. Portes will talk about how Latino children are faring in today’s economy and will discuss related policy implications on Aug. 27 from noon - 1 p.m. in Tate Student Center Room 138.
