Provides up-to-date information about programs and services for people with disabilities, no matter how old they are or where they live.

Helps people with disabilities and other needs to live, learn, work, and play in their communities.

Provides specialized services for seniors to improve their quality of life, including case management, adult day care programs, housing services, senior employment programs, transportation services, in-home services, healthcare and advocacy services.

Advises the Governor and General Assembly on statewide disability issues, and educates and advocates for promotion of equality, access and independence and development of employment opportunities.

An enrichment program for high school students with disabilities designed to develop career opportunities and provide activities that will spark an interest in high technology fields, and to encourage students to pursue higher education.

Each center provides career counseling, resume assistance, direct job placement, classroom and on-the-job training, and information about local and national labor markets and unemployment compensation.

If you receive disability benefits from the Social Security Administration and are interested in working or learning more about how working would affect your benefits, you can get help from a community organization known as a Work Incentive Planning and Assistance (WIPA) project.

The Ohio Rehabilitation Services Commission is the state agency that helps people with disabilities get and keep jobs. Depending upon the individual's disability, services are provided through either the Bureau of Services for the Visually Impaired or the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitation.

Provide training and support through three Adult Day Programs and the Careers Unlimited Employment Program.
