Disability Program Navigators (DPNs) in New Mexico

DPNs serve as disability resource specialists to assist individuals with disabilities navigate through available programs and services in the local One-Stop system. The DPNs work to increase employment opportunities and the self-sufficiency of persons with disabilities by linking them to employers to achieve successful entry or re-entry into the workforce.

Program from the New Mexico Commission for the Blind provides activities for students to prepare them to move from school to work or higher education. These activities are designed to complement the employment experience and reinforce blindness skills.
U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) District Office

Enforces many federal civil laws, including the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), that prohibit job discrimination. The Phoenix District Office has jurisdiction over the states of Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Wyoming and several counties in New Mexico.
