Emergency Management with Special Populations Cerificate Program

Temple University is offering online classes to help the public health workforce and emergency managers to address the needs of special populations, including people with disabilities and older Americans.

Institute on Disabilities at Temple University
Committed to supporting individuals with disabilities in their pursuit of interdependence and inclusion through training, technical assistance, services and supports, research, dissemination and advocacy.
Pennsylvania Emergency Management Agency
Provides information and resources on a variety of emergency preparedness-related topics including planning tools, disaster assistance, training opportunities for first responders and links to area offices.
Temple University VOAD (Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster)
Coordinates Disaster Response Teams (DRT) with each College, School, Center, Institute or Administrative Department at the University in order to increase community involvement and service. Also houses the Southeastern Pennsylvania Regional durable medical equipment (DME) project for response to emergencies and disasters within five counties (Philadelphia, Montgomery, Delaware, Bucks and County).
