People with disabilities should have access to the same social, cultural, and recreational activities enjoyed by all. This section of Disability.gov directs visitors to resources that promote choice and self-determination, including information on independent living, accessible recreation and travel opportunities, and accessibility guidelines for businesses and government agencies. There is also information about many disability organizations that provide advocacy and other services in local communities.
